Steak & Fingerling Papas

Part 1: Prepping the Steak

Ingredients

MEAT

3-6 oz Sirloin or New Strip Steak (can do any steak you like, I used both :))

PRODUCE

3 – Chopped Garlic Cloves

DAIRY

4 oz of unsalted butter

SPICES

Salt

Pepper

  1. In a small pot melt your butter

  2. Add a pinch of salt and pepper

  3. Chop and add garlic

  4. Once butter is fully melted add it on top of the steak (make sure every inch of the steak is marinated in butter)

  5. Let the steak marinated while you prep your potatoes

Part 2: Prepping the Fingerling Potatoes

Ingredients

PRODUCE

3 – Chopped Garlic Cloves

3 tbsp of Fresh Parsley

24 oz Fingerling Melody (Potatoes)

Lemon Juice from 1 Lemon

DAIRY

4 oz of unsalted butter (melted)

SPICES

Salt

Pepper

  1. Set a medium pot with water to boil (add a pinch of salt)

  2. Cut your bigger Fingerling Potatoes in half (leave the small rounded ones uncut, only cut the Potatoes that are significantly larger than the rest)

  3. Once the water comes to a boil, add the potatoes and cook for 8 minutes

  4. After 8 minutes, drain the potatoes and place them on a sheet of aluminum foil

  5. Add butter on top of potatoes

  6. Add two pinches of salt

  7. Add pepper

  8. Add chopped garlic

  9. Chop fresh parsley and add it into the mix

Part 3: Grilling the Steak & Fingerling Potatoes

  1. Turn your grill on to a medium heat, let it warm up for 15 minutes

  2. Set steak and Fingerling Potatoes in aluminum on the grill

  3. Cook steak to your taste (Click here to see the different temperatures for your liking)

  4. Let the better in the aluminum come to a boil and transfer the potatoes to the grill, skin facing up

  5. Allow the potatoes to roast until your steak is to your liking

  6. Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes, cut and serve alongside your potatoes and your favorite veggies.
